Our Logo

New Bethel’s logo represents who we are called to be as a church and how we are to execute our mission.

The family, consisting of a mother, father, son, and daughter, represent that foundation of our church’s mission in soul-winning and adding people to the family of Christ.  It also represents the breadth of our ministry, which seeks to reach every man, woman, and child.

The hill represents the manner in which Jesus has placed the church on a stand to be a light to the community.  As our church literally sits on a hill, we are constantly reminded that we are not to be hidden but to shine forth in the world, leading the lost to Christ.

The cross represents Jesus, our Lord and Savior.  He is the center of our church and, as people are drawn to the church, we desire that they see Him in us.

The sun represents our light, or the manner in which we draw people to our church through our ministry.  Each of the five rays of light around the sun represent a branch of ministry which we use to build up and empower the total person for discipleship.

Collectively, a total of 12 divinely-inspired symbols were used to represent our church in this logo (i.e., four people, one hill, one cross, one sun, and five sun rays). Biblically, the number 12 represents perfect government and order; we believe that the Lord has given us the exact vision and structure that we need to rule over the darkness in the community around us.
